One was just given to me that is in great condition. I looked up on the internet and read up on em. Just was wondering if there was anything else cool about em that the internet is not reporting. Or if someone has owned or worked on em, can give me some opinions. It is some what a strange lookin car, but kinda cool at the same time.

87 yes it has the 401, with the 4sp tranny (which needs a rebuild I am told). Car is odd as hell lookin yet I kinda like it.

My parents drove me home from the hospital when I was born in a '73 Javelin. They had to use that car because their other car was a '74 TR6.

AMC's are cool as hell, but expect to spend big $$$ to restore them.

that is what I am hearing. It actually needs very little restoration. I am gonna drive it to work a couple days when the tranny gets checked out. I have never seen a car like this before.

What engine does it have? Depending on the engine it either has a T14 or a T10. AMC did use T5's in later vehicles, so you could even do a 5-speed swap if you wanted.

it has the 401 with the t-10. Runs really well. Loud as shit tho.

Yea I will try to get a snap or 2 this coming weekend or have him text me a pic. Yea it was given to me, my homie that I store my cars with is often left with cars and merch that people leave behind or never pay for the storage. Got a couple cars from him like that.
