Looking at buying a dirtbike and was wondering what paperwork I needed to be good with the DMV? Just want to make sure I have my bases covered

They should have a pink slip just like a car. Verify the vin,names blah blah. Have them sign the pink slip and release of liability and go to dmv and register it under your name. Same process as buying a used car
