Brady grew up 2 blocks away from my place, his parents still live there and my best friend lived nextdoor. We used to play ball with him in the street when we were kids. I remember hating when he played QB, he threw the ball so FUCKIN hard I was scared to catch it. From what I can remember he was an awesome guy, so FUCK YEAH GO PATS...

Let me guess...you were a Steelers fan in the 70s, 49er fan in the 80s, Cowboys fan in the 90s and a Pats fan in the 00s.

I use to like Brady.... But after he left his knocked up ex to hook up with a model, I lossed all respect for the guy. Not to mention his ego has become a big factor on how he plays.
( here's an example. Brady can't shake another guys hand? )

Who cares, we're not judging him on his ability to be a decent human being lol...we're not asking this guy to be our friend or role model for christ sake lol. No ones perfect boss [Wink] We're just simply a fan of the way he plays football. Some people read too much into things lol. Mike Vick slaughtered countless dogs for crying out loud and he's still a badass QB, Michael Jordan is degenrate gambler and he cheated on his wife plenty of times, Kobe, Tiger, etc etc the list goes on and on. Are you not a fan of these guys either based on their indiscretions lol?

Actually man I really disagree with ya! I'm an old man now an have seen a lot in my line of work and when it translates into sports it drives me crazy. I won't root for Kobe or Rothlisberger and I don't like that Vick got $100 million if you have little kids or work with kids etc. Do you want them looking up to or sporting the jersey of an accused rapist or degenerate gambler or someone who beats their wife cheats or smokes weed everyday? I sure don't!

^ Thats how I feel. [patriot]
Vick is a pos for doing what he did.
Tiger is a jackass who shouldn't have gotten married.
Big Ben is a piece of work for all the dumb shit he's done.
If you can't be a man on & off the field then your not getting my respect.

I totally see where your coming from but I do NOT read that much into it. I choose to not judge these guys on anything past the court or the field etc that they play on. I simply watch them for the skill level and entertainment value. You're getting into a whole other realm when you're talking about role models and looking up to these cats. In my honest opinion parents should clearly define the definition of a role model to their children so they clearly differentiate between role model and athlete. I for one have never looked up to these guys as role models however I do admire their work ethic when it comes to what they do. My mother is my role model [patriot] I was taught to differentiate between the two. Anything past that is really none of my business and I could really give a shit about. Now before anyone starts saying, "since they're superstars/athletes/role mdels etc they have a responsibility to the public, sit down and ask yourselves what actually gives you the right to say that? Because you're a parent with a kid who's favorite player is Kobe? Parents should be the ones making it clear and not use athletes as scapegoats for their kids perceptions. If you feel kids have the wrong perception of these so called scumbags then enlighten them for christ sake! The truth works. I don't understand how you guys crucify these athletes lol when everyone in this world has done some dirt or something they are not proud of..yes even our real role models aren't perfect and have done dirt so let's just create some realistic expectations shall we lol? Theyre only human beings, duh! [Wink]
