I was talking to a guy the other day and he told me he put a Timing retard eliminater on his zx14 and it made a big difference.my 06 busa is weak in the lower rpm range so I wanted to try it out.

its just a resistor. Have someone measure the resistance on theirs off the forum, and go get it at radio shack. I put one on my 750 and it was hard to tell the difference.

Save your money for a custom tune iirc those tres didn't really do that much but I also don't remember how much they cost either..

You probably will not see a performance difference, but you will probably notice the smoothness and a lot less engine braking. The difference was dramatic on the track (for me since I am a more high corner speed kind of rider), but riding on the street I would not even bother.

Cheap mod...so why not:)

What would you guys advise me to do to it?when I first bought it it was a monster but then I put some yoshi exhaust on it and now its a not as responsive..everyone tells me to put a power comander on it but I don't have 450 to spend on the bike untill my mustang is finished..

Whenever I was working on race bikes the biggest gains we used to see were from full exhaust air filter velocity stacks if applicable a solid valve adjust and cam timing along with a custom tune the bikes would really wake up.
It was somewhat expensive but really made a difference
