Decided I'd sign up for the site I know you guys used to come to union city for meets a lot about a year ago.

I drive a 2000 Camaro SS..driveway built from the ground up procharged with a few supporting mods. Had a cam only '99 Z28 that made 400+ wheel with full suspension and a built drivetrain and also had a restored '72 Chevelle SS.

On my way back to work from chipotle it was the first rain in a while and it was pouring (back like 4 months ago when it rained for like a week straight) goin like 50 and still lost control of the car with street tires on hit the center divide and totaled the body.. luckily all my suspension, drivetrain components, and motor were safe just the body was done. Sold the motor and kept everything from my my suspension and drivetrain then put it into the new beast.

Damn this thread grew from when I seen it first pop up yesterday.

@ highway21.... blue book is only an accurate gauge for newer cars. 5.0s have always sold for higher than what KBB says. At the same time the market dictates what they sell for. People can ask whatever they want but what they sell for is what matters.

Man, I would love to street race again, I have already been busted for it and went to Santa Rita for the night. Sorry I am not a fan of 93-02 Camaro, look likes like a Geo Storm on steroids, but I love the motors. I would love to have an IROC with with a LS1 drivetrain in it. I might be at the track on the 30th with my 93 Cobra if I can find some drag wheel combo that will clear my brakes and I would love to race you. In the last month I have been showing up where they meet in Pleasant Hill before going to 7th. A lot of youngsters that don't know what they are doing, seems more like alot of drama than racing, very sad to see. Also I do remember Street Actions back in the early 90s, when they were starting out.

Probably faster than that. I have a 107 trap and I'm sure with slicks and driver mod I can get a 12.9, he had more go & suspension so I'd see atleast 12.4 out of his old one. the new one 10's i'd hope.
