Get a T5 then start the real modding. Theres no compairison, a T5 5.0 feels like a completely different car from the AOD. Take it from someone whos had an shift kited auto 5.0 w/ a stall converter and all that other AOD jazz. I learned to drive stick and ended up converting to a T5. Lets just say, I'd never go back but I'm not a HP fiend either so my goal isn't to get in the 11's or 10's. T5 FTW

the frist mod should be
1 taking off the dog bone on your rear end.
2 taking out the air restions in air box if you have a cold air intake already.
3 add a kn air filter.
4 change spark plugs
5 flush coolant.
6 do a tranny flush and and amz oil atf to it
7 flush your rear end gear oil and amz oil to the readend
8 delete the cruze control on the throttle body delete all that shit out.
9 delete smog pump and all the shit around it.
10. remove the rear bumper deletes 10 pounds.
11 cap rotor change
12 9mm ford racing spark plugs wires
13 new throttle body like a 65mm or 70mm
14 new upper and lower intake cobra or holly systemmax one
