Yeah the car ran hard for a stock bottom end 302 with h/c/i and S Trim. The 10.09 in my sig is a different motor. For people PMing me and wondering about the combo it was...

Stock '88 302 shortblock 120,000 miles
AFR 185's with 1.7 rockers
F cam
Holley Systemax
S Trim 11-12 psi
T-5 with 3.73's
Home tune LOL with 30lb injectors and matching C&l
Best run 10.68@131

Yeah my new combo will be making a few more HP than I have now.

The haters are the main reason I distanced myself & don't post on Cafords these days. When I bought my caddy I got hated on hard, & still do.

Even people doubt what my fox with its basic pos mismatched hci setup would run & I went out last Wednesday & ran better times than even I thought I was gonna run, & it still has much more on the table. Every. motor & combo are different, one might run harder then the next with the exact same parts. You never know....

Good sh#t Matt, keep doing what you're doing. Your car always impresses me because its 100% home built & you shift your own gears instead of taking the easy way out & going with an automatic....

Look at lee's coupe it ran 9.7s with a 306 with a stock cam.you just have to fine tune your car an make tons of pass to find out what works an what does not

U know what's funny is matt and marc use to ask me a lot of questions back then.. I thought I was smart and giving good advise but now I find myself asking him questions.. U know what the answer always is with matt, " IDK bro I think u just gotta take it to the track and dial that bad boy in!!!" hahaha always the same answer..

lol.... I love it hahahah when I first seen the FLAG I dove on the floor in tears, I thought it was so funny it actually made us want to go faster. I just remember Glover Brothers from South Sac!! LOL! Thats was the same C&L meter. We shoulda lined them up back then! ..But yeah you were one of the first cats I met when I started to get in the game serious. The track dont lie, thats why I always test there.

30 lbs injectors ? FMU ? That thing must have been so lean . I ran that same combo with 42LBS and with 12 lbs of boost the injectors were at 99% duty cycle .

Yeah I'm sure it was lean too. I had the 30's an FMU and a boost sensitive regulator. I probably ran over a 100 passes like that.
