looking to buy a mustang that was brought from oregon and its registered in oregon till 2013, I wondering if any of have bought a car out of state and registered it in california?

whats the process? or can I just take the mustang to my smog hookup and get a smog certificate and then go to the dmv and get it registered and get my CA plates?

my 91 went through the verification at the chp office in union city, CANDY. all i did was put the cats back on, no smog pump nothin. dropped it off they took it in back called me like 40 mins later it was good, had gt40 heads, intake and a e cam.

haha chp officer was like, sounds like it might have a issue, the idle is kinda rough

i think the light verifiication is just to make sure all ur lights function properly
