We race on road courses for fun. Not money, not for a $2 trophy, or a Youtube video clip. The difference is we care about our own and other peoples safety.

We run on a closed course with fire and EMS equipment on standby. Every inch of the track is monitored with a warning system to tell others if there's a problem. There's no intersections or cross traffic. There are no pedestrians. No soccer moms with little kids on the road.

We run 120mph bumper to bumper. We slide the cars through turns side by side. But we do this with other drivers who know what we're doing and more importantly, is expecting those types of moves.

The difference is not the speed, or the racing. The difference is the environment in which we do it.
