Ok, sorry I just have to get this shit off my chest...
So I'm on my lunch break today and I was running errands. I just left a shop in Hayward to get my car tech inspected for an upcoming trackday (Thanks TopNotch!) and I was heading to the post office to ship out some parts to Blown67 (please dont ban me for mentioning his name!). Anyway, for those who know Hayward, I was heading down Harder St. going towards 92 and I had my window down. My head was slightly hanging out the window because I thought I heard some funny noise comign from my car (but it was actually the car next to me). As I'm putting down Harder, a red Camaro going the opposite direction down Harder passes by me and revs his car. Cool...I guess. Anyway, I'm at a stop light and I see the camaro make a U-turn about 3 lights down from where I was. I didnt think nothign of it...
Then I see him cutting through traffic to catch up to me. I'm thinking, OK, whatever. By this time I'm going down Santa Clara St., which is residential with hella stop signs. The driver who I can't see because his front windows, and maybe even windshield, were limo tinted, starts revving again. I look over and he takes off. I swear, he does this shit for the next 5 stop signs or so. I'm thinking to myself, "WTF!? We're in a residential area, the police station is 2 blocks away, and this dude is really trying to race me?!?!" I continue to just drive normal and he seems to have gotten angry so he starts to kind of swerve into my lane. At this point I just keep my composure and let him do his thing. I then pull into the post office and he takes off.
Maybe I'm getting old, but is this how "street racers" try to start races? The chase after potential "other street racers" and act a fool until the next guy gives in??? I dont straight line race as many people know, but c'mon, we were in a residential area with a shit load of stop signs so even if I did race why would I even consider doing it there? Maybe he was mad? Bored? Drunk? High? Who knows. I just think dudes like this need to grow up!

No, he was Jus a dumb ass..I feel where your coming from though..I stopped goin to street races cause dudes were comin out acting stupid swinging donuts with cars still driving by, seeing cars getting hit and cops crackin down..not worth it imo. But yea trying to race in residential is Jus stupid..cops would've had ur ass if you would've got caught in the act

Well said, he was just an idiot. OH ya I use to street race all the time, but never raced on the street. If you know the difference then you know what I'm talking about!
