If it was true, there has to be a better way to to go to war then destroying a city, leaving the area a radioactive shit hole and the ensuring chaos will plung your economy (and world) into the toilet, all at the same time (shadow gov or not, worlds fucked your fucked)

Wow. I really don't think that'll happen. BUT if it did, I'm predicting Detroit. It's a shit hole. They can claim the terrorists are attacking our industrial center (Twin towers were our financial center, Pentagon our military center) but bet all the CEO's of the auto makers will be out of town on business, AND receive huge bailouts in the wake of the attack.
