Get the best of both. Slap a termi motor in the notch.

It all depends on whether you want to take on a monthly car payment...
I'd take a Terminator over a notch 9 times out of 10 but would prefer to own my car outrite 9 times out of 10 aswell. Keep that in mind.
Good luck on whatever route you decide to go.

build the notch with a stroked 351 people will still think its a 302 and the slightly more educated will think its a 351.

Both cars can be fast, each have their weak points, but you will take completely different paths to get fast and be comfortable in both cars. Decision is yours to make. ...

Go get a termy... I myself am building a SN95... Last week I was so close to selling it and all the parts I have and getting a torch red 10th anniversary cobra but I decided to finish the SN95 first... I would had been financing it though...
New edges look better than a played out fox but to each his own...

If funds arent an issue...I'd get a notch roller and put a mod motor in it...then build the suspension and interior/exterior. That will be 10000x's more bad ass than any off the shelf, cookie cutter 04 termi

terminator in the notch!! lol

How many miles do you plan on driving?? Big block power is fun but the bad mileage and lopey idle from a solid roller can also kind of wear on you. Notches are bad ass, I used to think 5.0s were played out and for a time they were but you don't see em nearly as much as you did 10-15 years ago. Now, in reality I wish people Nowadays would choose to mod other cars besides mustangs, ls1 camaros or c5/c6 corvettes. The variety seems to be really slim

Terminator. simply because i personally wouldn't want the stress of worrying about someone trying to jack my notch that i poured money and time into.
Plus the Termi has so many things on it already that are great. Comfy interior. Supercharged. Stout motor. Independent rear suspension. 6-speed. Cobra brakes.
