Thats a misdemeanor in california, it can be lowered to an infraction but it'll be about a grand if not a little more.

Thats a 2 point ticket and looking around $500-700 maybe more. Code 23109 i know i got one before lol, but got lucky cuz i plead not guilty and went to court but 5oh didnt show up so they dismiss it

It's ten years now. Got one a awhile back. Your best bet is keep fighting it. I got mine reduced to a unsafe lane change and a speeding ticket with a fine of 250. It was still two point on my record but beats having two points stay on for ten years.

i have gotten 2 of them.. one was fish tailing with a cop right behind me couldnt see him cuz of the rollcage and tinted windows at night got arrested and car towed about 1200 bucks 7 years ago.. then got one on by bike for wheeli down automall in fremont bike impounded and a 500 dollar fine... of course insurance was sky high... your prolly going to have to get a sr-22.. but hey dont wory setup a payment plan with court for central collections shit happens

all tickets stay on your record for ten years most just don't count against you after 3 years

My first reckless ran about 700, the second was 1000 and the third was over 2 racks. This was from 2004-2008. The second and third ones i did jail time
