I know this is a Ford site, but I will post this anyway.

I took the Caddy up to AED last weekend to do a few pulls to see what type of power it was making, & what the A/F ratio was at. After we made 1 pull, I was very shocked to see that the car was only making 382 rwhp/363 rwtq SAE, & it had a EXTREMELY lean a/f ratio of 14.8 at WOT!!!!

Needless to say, the car was tuned incorrectly by a very popular shop that shall remain nameless, so it was time for a new tune. I then called Mark Romans who is a well known local LSX tuner here in Norcal & today he tuned the car at SVS R&D in Sac. On their superflow dyno with Mark's new tune, the car made a best pull of 420 rwhp/393 rwtq. I am very pleased with the numbers, & not only that, but the driveability is a million times better than it previously was with the old tune.

Just as a refresher, the only engine mods are a Flowtech Cam (228/232 duration. 111 LSA, 612 intake/600 exhaust), B&B 1 3/4 Longtubes, B&B 3" catless exhaust, 30lb Ford injectors, & a drop in K&N filter.

Thanks. It was a sniffer at the tailpipe. The dyno was a superflow dyno, which is a load based dyno, not sure if it was loaded or not? He didn't do any street tuning this time. In case you are wondering, the dyno operator showed me what the numbers would be with the dynojet correction factor, & it was 435ish rwhp.

Thanks Brandon. Although I haven't been a part of the LSX world very long, but I have been hearing positive things about Mark Romans tuning for years. I am glad I went with him over the "other" shop, he went above & beyond & put A LOT of work into the tune to make everything from driveability, gas mileage, & peak power spot on...

The shop in the video isn't AED, its SVS R&D on Fulton ave. in Sac. I only did a few pulls on AED's dyno to see what the car was putting down to the wheels & what the A/f ratio was. AED never tuned the car.

I post it here because I have many friends on this site, & I want to express how pleased I am with the car that I bought. Some appreciate it, some don't.
