Yep, that was a long time ago. The car looks identical but is quite a bit quicker now. I hated those damn McCreary's!! Glen who used to run the green 67 Fastback talked me into getting those and they were barely better than my OEM street tires! That was problaby back in 96 after I had the 3.55's put in. I still the magnetic card from Rearend Specialties here at work on my shelf and it has 5/7/96 written on it for my appt.

I was out there last week and I will be back out there next week. I'm still having fun racing.

I remember Glen! He looked like boss hog from Duke's of Hazzard coming out and running consistent 12's in his very nice 67 Fastback! Does he still have/race the car?

That 67 was one of my favorite cars out there from that era.

Also remember a red Calloway Vette and a teal coupe driven by a black guy. Those two cars ran high 11's at the time, but were some of the fastest cars out there consistently that were street legal.

Glen moved to Idaho or somewhere but he races at a local track where he moved to. Zabas (I don't know how to spell his name) races once in a while with the Calloway but not too often. That teal coupe is Kevin. He repainted it Reef Blue and it looks much better now. It is also much faster. He trailers it out now. He is #1 on the 50 fastest list with a 7.92 @ 185mph!! I still try to get out there 2 times a month but it is difficult with my wife working full time and having to pick up my 7 year old and 4 year old from school.

I had a forest green vert and always wanted to do it to any other fox i had... its prob not the same paint but its similar . Sweet 7up [patriot]

I just let my lady see your vert and she thought it was blue... I always use to get that from people and when i would get a ticket at night they would put BLUE on the ticket... When ever you got pics of it outside in the sun post some pics!
