i'm interested in getting a good sounding exhaust system on my 95 mustang gt..what do you recommend? I care more about the sound than the performance

I have magnapacks. They sound pretty good. Go on YouTube and listen to some sound clips on there.

I have always been a simple stock header, Off-road H, Dynomax Super Turbo cat-back kind of guy.

No over the top excessive noise, no raspiness, no non-sense. Just a smooth deep tone with a "straight-thru" style muffler that won't rob additional HP.

I miss that catback so much, fucking hate my blowmasters on my IRS catback [Mad]

On my 93 I had a Mac-Prochamber + 2 chambered Flowmasters. It wasn't too bad, but doesn't compare to the current set-up.

running a 2.5" stainless BBK o/r h-pipe with IRS blowmaster american thunder catback right now, gives me a headache everytime I drive the car out to fontana or willow springs for track days [Frown]

I've had 40 series flowmasters on all my mustangs. Can you tell just by listening the difference between an H or X pipe? Two different distinct sounding exhaust tones.

Almost any mustang person can tell its a mustang and which mid pipe they are running just by the sound of the exhaust.

I would suggest showing up to an event, you should be able to find a variety of 94-95's to judge yourself what you like.
