Which is wider tire 295/35/18 bfg drag radials or 305/35/18 nitto 555r drag radial. I heard nitto run alittle thinner and a 295 bfg=315 nitto.The reason im askin the this question is my roush rim is a 18x9 rim and in 98 Roush put 295/35/18 on there 18x9 rim in the rear stock. When i bought the car the 295 on them which( i believe were goodyears) looked great. Last time i bought a 295/35/18 bfgs drag radials they seem way to wide but still put them on i seem like they were bulging out rim alot. Want to know if i get 305/35/18 nitto tire itself wont be wider then the 295bfgs. HELP!!!

when i had 275 40 17 in nitto, they were a lot thinner then a 275 in mckey thompson so yea probably. but bfg radials SUCK!!! go with nitto's at least.

in my experince the nitto is pretty small. The bfg wont last as long on the street for dd driving but work 100 times better than the nitto, if you want a really good drag radial for non daily use i would go with the micky's

Yeah ima go with some nittos. Them bfg dont last that long.

Yeah i would get some mickey but i heard they waste faster than the bfg's drags

Don't bfg's hold the psca record for fastest radial? If so there's ur answer. Always see lots of bfg's @ the track.

I heard from some good sources that my Fastback won't hook at all with the Nittos. They aren't as soft and sticky as the BFGs and thats why they last longer.
With BFGs i'll hook.

I seen good reviews on those new nitto NT-05R. They say there like night n day compared to the 555r waaaaay better. My boy has them on a 400 whp maro and they hook. Might try them out

I have Nitto NT555R DR's and they fucking suck. They dont hook for shit i got stock heads and cam and i cant get traction in 1st, 2nd, and chirp 3rd. Even if i warm them up! Dont waste your money

Yeah if you can't get the nitto nto5r then go bfg. The people that knock the nto5r are the ones who haven't tried it. People pushing 500 plus are hooking with out a problem on those. Do not confuse the the nitto vs the old. I'm thinking of pickIng them up for the summer

I have the nitto 555s in the front with nitto nt05R in the rear there sneeky tires people were wondering why i was had street lookin tires and when i left the vette out of the hole they found out why i love the nitto nt05Rs in the rear and at night it looks like a street tire hahahahah another vette bites the dust [patriot]
