ok so im sure everyone who browses the for sale section and has seen my post with the moderator fstrdnu flaking post in it.

back in june when i first started buying parts off this forum i was looking for an aluminum clitch quadrant, i get a pm from fstrdnu that he has a double hood clutch quadrant in his storage, doesnt know what brand and wants 30$ for it. so i say ok fine deal but he needed to find it. so oafter a day or so we go to meet up, and in the mean time i find a better quadrant on steeda.com for only 10$ more http://www.steeda.com/store/steeda-quick-release-clutch-quadrant-ford-mustang.html. so at first i was going to just go with the guys 30$ unknown brand quadrant, but after thinking about it and it not even being a good deal i leave the guy a message hours before we are supposed to meet letting him know i was not going to make it.

i did not flake on the guy and i wasent even late i let him know well in advance that i wasent going to be there. and since then i have delt with a small handfull of people and all that i have purchased from can testify that i have never even been late.

91gt seems like a real person who would buy something from you. Most of his posts are trying to BUY things off of people trying to sell. Just because someone decides to not buy something and leaves you a message that he's not going to buy it, that doesnt mean he's a flake. Maybe someone should check their messages and let a valid member do their own thing.

Was it a VM or an email/PM?

If VM, you are in the clear IMHO. If you sent an email/PM that day, well, you can't assume that the person will receive an electronic message only hours before your scheduled meet up time.

I cannot believe this guy is a mod. Mods for a website should rep themselves much better than that. One work to describe...Pathetic. Even if he didnt call and not show up who cares, I sure as hell dont. As a moderator of this forum, were you posting on his adds to honestly help other members? Or were you just trying to be a jerk because some guy didnt show up one time almost a year ago. IMO, if you were trying to help out a fellow member from getting ripped off or something you would have used the a PM. Maturity would help in this situation. Since I have started posting on 98cobra.com this place has gone down hill. I guess now I can see why. I have still gotten many great things from here and will continue to be a part of the board. It is just sad to see it go from where it was.

Always expect a portion of people to back out, whether they find something cheaper, or just the economic times and they have to fullfil other obligations that come up.
