Go to a Best Buy, Insall is included with price of alarm, and lifetime warranty on labor. Make sure you get a backup battery, a hood pin, trunk pin, and I would onsider a fuel pump shut off toggle switch hidden somewhere. What year car?

Install is for a 2000 Mustang. Anyone have any experience with best buy install their alarm? I heard horror stories about them not doing installs properly.

I can tell you the Best Buys out here in Fairfield and Vacaville are legit. I know several Installers at both shops. 2000 Mustang is pretty straight forward, I have done like 20 of these cars myself. Any shop that has a problem with that car, is garbage. Good thing about Best Buy is they are not going anywhere, custom shops cgarge more, and seem to be going out of business left and right. Plus the custom shops are not going to give a lifetime warranty.

Got a viper alarm installed by best buy, has keyless entry, trunk pop, starter kill, etc. Alarm cost 200 install included they did good work soldered all connections, and theres lifetime warranty on labor, i would recommend them to anyone looking to get an alarm installed. This was the guy at vallejo best buy he knows his shit.

Go to either Fairfield or Vacaville, if it was the hispanic guy named Miguel who did your alarm in Vallejo he no longer works there. I trained him, and he left the company.

And I would not consider smart start unless you purchase a second standard type remote to go along with it. I have smart start in my truck, and DEI's cell network has problems atleast 1 time a week.
