the title of my car got lost in the mail somehow, i'm trying to find out how to get a duplicate or find the one that was in the mail. Any ideas?

Go to DMV and apply for a duplicate title

yep
i had to do the same when my dog ate mine...

dmv lady got a good laugh out of that one, especially when i showed her the chewed up parts
