Dumb ass kid. He was supposed to be highly recruited to. Suspended, kicked off team and likely to be expelled. Well he can kiss any schollys good bye from any meaningful schools. He will be playing JC ball if that. Not to mention there are likely to be charges filed. No room for that in any sports I hope they stick it to him.

I think its weak he was called when red was the one who instigated the action. He didnt handle himself well at all but i woulda been pissed too getting thrown out for shit someone else started. Bet that ref will think twice about throwing techs over bs and to the person who wasnt the instigator. lol. Oh and N8 it said charges havent been filed and the ref wasnt gonna press them. Im sure if he works hard enough he can bounce back from this. If he wants it enough.

no poor call made by a ref gives any person the right to attack them, the job of the ref is to make calls poorly or wisely and emotions are a big part of any sport becuase that kid couldnt control his shows how professional he really is and the ref should have pushed charges and like said they should give him the max for something like that, and after he has finished with all the negative things that should follow an unprovoked attack like that then if and only if someone gives him another chance and he decides he wants to work for it then good, anyways that ref should have socked that kid as soon as he was pushed i cant stand when a person attacks someone else like that, one day they will do it to the wrong person

He will be recruited, but no blue chip schools will want any part of that and that I can guarantee. He will have to sit out his senior year too which is crucial for recruiters. And the ref does not have to press charges for the DA to pick up the charges.

AND A LEVEL FOUR OFFENSE MEANS HOLLAND WON'T BE ABLE TO PLAY ANY SPORTS FOR THE REMAINDER OF HIS HIGH SCHOOL CAREER.

HOLLAND, IN HIS JUNIOR YEAR AT DESOTO HIGH, SAYS HE ISN'T GIVING UP.

i'm not gonna put my head down. my basketball is not over.

BUT HOLLAND MAY HAVE MORE TO WORRY ABOUT.

jim hamm is the referee attacked during monday night's game. we spoke with him at the ymca where he works and he wants the whole situation to go away. unfortunately for holland it may not go away anytime soon.

IN THIS DESOTO COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORT, HAMM STATES HE DIDN'T WANT TO SEE HOLLAND GET ARRESTED BUT DID WANT TO FILE A REPORT-CHARGES. SO FAR HOLLAND HAS BEEN SUSPENDED FROM SCHOOL FOR 10 DAYS AND HE SAYS HE HAS LEARNED A VALUABLE LESSON.

its not worth getting upset in games. its not worth putting your hands on an official to lose what you have.
He got baited into the foul he committed and then took things too far with the ref, gotta keep emotions in check.

No place for that in this type of sport! [Frown]

It is all part of the game. If you cannot roll with the ref's call then you shouldn't be playing basketball. How many cheesy foul calls do you see in the NBA...ZILLIONS. I wonder when this kid gets angry at someone else (not during the game). What is he going to do punch the person out [Roll Eyes]

No sympathy for that behavior..on or off the court. Lets hope he gets his head on straight and doesn't waste his talent and end up in the slammer.
