The GT5 collector's edition look's pretty koo, 99 bucks tho, lol! The voucher for 5 exclusive high end cars with custom Gran Turismo livery and performance upgrades look bad.

the one thing i am very happy bout is i got the COD block op's edition controller where it has 2 buttons on the bottom...it make it so much easyer to use the throttle wit the joystick and brake at same time...really helps wit the go karts so if ne one else has a controller like tha use it..

My little brother went to a release party at midnight last night. He grabbed me a copy. He also said that he got a code that unlocks a bunch of cars. I'm like a fat kid locked outside a candy store with a clearance sign in the window!

just got mine on the way home to try it out, pretty pissed off because I didn't know walmart had the midnight opening for it and when I got there at 20min after they open there was only 3 left on the shelf.

But atleast I got me a copy.......

I just bought my first two mustangs, i just got the 05 GT (updrages chin spoiler,wheels, intake&exhaust)ill try to post up pictures and the 71 mach 1 in grabber blue(stock)!

there is also a '00 cobra R in the used car section but i cant afford it at the moment:D

really wish they had a fox or an sn95 but oh well still fun

picked up gt5 from best buy in pinole on the way home... great game so far but i opted to load all the game data to the hard drive for faster loading during gameplay and it took almost an hour. good graphics, nice cars, lives up to the gran turismo name. they could have been a little more in depth with the mods and tuning but still ok

Been playing for like 8 hours. Pretty weak so far:

-Only "premium" cars have interior view, and that interior looks like ass
-Bughatti Veyron is a "standard" car, but the Prius is premium?
-like 50 different miata's, but 2 Mustang's so far
-No Brake upgrades
-only simple respray paintjobs
-only premium cars can have aftermarket wheels
-serious polygon artifacting in shadows and smoke effects
-physics engine leaves much to be desired. but overall isn't any worse than previous Gran Turismo's.
-sound effects on anything BUT premium cars reminds me of PS2 quality
-selection of cars is fairly weak, but hopefully they'll have a lot of downloadable content in the near future

On the bright side:

-night racing
-wet weather racing
-Smoke effects are... smokey
-premium cars look awesome
-physics of oversteer and understeer are like a combo of GT3 and GT4. all the good, none of the bad
-the rally/dirt racing is really good
-the Top Gear track is cool

one car i've been waiting to see in a game, pretty dope

The load times still suck with it on the hard drive. Fun so far though. I should have just done my licences before throughing 17k on a mr2 i havent used yet. I like my nissan mm-r cup car.

So far I'm impressed with the game, the load time does suck but I didn't load the file to the HD yet. I've only got an hour into it, mostly setting the game up and some license races.

Wow.Ive been playing it all day and Im seriously disappointed. Theres supposedly over 1000 cars but theres probably around 200 you can buy at the dealer.Modding and tuning is garbage.The sounds of the V8 cars makes me wanna snap the disc in 1/2.

What the hell took this game sooo long to release.At its current state it seems that its an incomplete game.

Game of the year...More like disappointment of the year.


When does Forza 4 come out????

I had that problem earlier today. But add me on there for some online action. "Nastysvt" Dont have much cars yet. just a couple beaters and a go-kart. Been focusing on Liscenses and trying to raise my level of experience. So far Im Level 6 with about $80K..gonna save another $20 an buy my first real car

About to start on my ia licence. The ib 10 test was fawking fustrating but got all silvers for that. Im at level 11 with only half a day put in total. I want that sema 70' fastback its a nice pro touring ride.

I was playing again last night and the server connection was fine. I'm on level 11 right now and building my cash back up. I've been modding my STI... almost 500 hp now. I also have a new M3, an Toyota FT86 concept that I haven't sold yet, and a couple Honda Civics. Its challenging to get the cash so you buy the specific cars needed for a lot of the races. I'm trying to get to level 14 or 15 so I can buy my Ford GT.

One complaint I have is the music in this game, it seriously sucks ass. Who the hell want's to listen to shitty ass jazz music while playing a game? Hell, who wants to listen to shitty ass jazz period! I uploaded some of my own music to the PS3 and can listen to that instead, I found out the hard way how aggressive you get while listening to Pantera and racing though....

Nice..Im Level 10 with $164k Some of those Special Tests were hard..The Nascar driving school, intermediate, 3rd track having to stay high on the wall and in between cones and the VW Intermediate 2 lap race with the Lotus is insane..that car does not wanna stay straight going through a turn..

Agreed. It took me quite a few attempts to get gold on those intermediate Nascar special events.

Level 16 now. My Ford GT is 822 hp. I also have a 670 hp Ferrari 458 Italia and a 790 hp '62 Buick.

I wish I knew how to grab pics of my cars, save them, and move it to my computer.

I'm still on level 16 but I'm getting ready to move up to some Expert events. I just used my Ford GT to thrash all the race cars in the Gran Turismo Championship on the Professional Level. That unlocks the ending movie and plays the credits. I also got a Veyron for my trouble.

My garage is sick but my bankroll is a little thin right now.
