The car has 3 owners under 30k miles and has Flowmasters thunder catback, steeda underdrive pullies, eibach sportlines, sct tuner, jlt CAI, roush wing, and 20 inch bullits. My co workers friend is selling it and im thinking about buying it. Should i be worried about the mods he has done to it like it breaking down or beating up the engine to hard and the fact that it had three owners with under 30k miles? Also underneath the car the "plate" according to him has been changed i guess its near the front bumper due to it being so low and scraping. I dont know to much about these cars so im hoping someone can help me out with these. He wants 15k for it. Thanks.

If you are going to drop the 15k on a Mustang do yourself favor pay the 5-6 dollars or someshit for one carfax. That will tell you if it was maintained, and with 30k it's still brand new. Thats a hell of a deal

I know the price is right but with all those mods and the handheld tune, I m hoping the car isnt beat bad because it will be my commuter for a long time, and I need it to be reliable.

15k seems high to me, having owned one of these and selling it. I had my Vista Blue "PREMIUM" GT for sale for 16k with little to NO interest. Car had $3,200 worth of custom Boyd Wheels/tires, MORE mods than the one your looking at, 16,000 miles and was IMMACULATE.

You can get that car for less, or others with more for the same.

Yea but i want one that really has no mods on it because i would Daily Drive it and i was just wondering if it would be reliable with the pulleys and it having been tuned.

i never looked into those nor do i know much. but its 5yrs old and 15k when it was new prob 30 and in 2-5 yrs by the time u sell or pay it off its gunn be worth 6-9k plus all the mods u put in plus matenance such as oil changes and all. i say pass on it. try to wait and find a sweet modded stang or a all stock for dirt cheap. maybe try auctions....yea it might beed service or sum tires or detail but prob a better bet for your self. good luck. Looks good. Offer him $13.5k and see if he'll take. If not, pass on it.

$15k sounds kind of steep for an 05...I've seen them for cheaper. Now that the 2011 5.0's are on the market by January 2011 these older models will be EVEN CHEAPER! I say pass on it.

Mods will not make the car undrivable. Pullies, shifter, driveshaft, mufflers, dyno tune, gears etc, those kind of mods. Litteraly had 16k miles, Shaker 1000 stereo ETC! EVERY POSSIBLE option for 06 and still couldn't sell for 16 WITH all the mods. 15k for an 05, twice the mileage, with FAR less mods, PASS ON IT. There is the same for less money, or that amount of money with more tastefull/usable mods.

Goodluck, you should be able to get a used 05 to 2010 for 15k soon as the 11's are such a huge leap forward.
