what you guys think i was thinkin about sticken with my 2v but get a cobra Rotating Assembly and do lil work to the heads and maybe comp cams or should i just save up and do a 4v swap instead my car is a 96 gt what you guys think

Don't know what you guys are talking about. The 2v in my sig still has cats, stock intake manifold, and the blower has a CARB EO number on it. Can't make any power with that stuff. [Razz] [Wink]

Im more focus on just gettin the swap done but want to switch out my stock k member so when i do the swap im just gonna get a whole kit from like UPR or QA1 something like that when i get ready to do everything

Actually im gonna do a 4V swap myself,there is an arguable potential for making better or easier power with a 4V.And besides they look sooooo much sicker than a 2V when you pop the hood. [Wink]

Getting the parts for a 2v swap are pretty cheap.. but the damn labor is going to kill you.. unless you do it yourself.. do yourself a favor and build that motor for boost.. since once you run it N/A you will yearn for that boost.. and who wants to pull a motor twice.. You wont regret it

It depends on what you plan on doing. 2v do not suck if you upgrade the heads and cams throw a blower on there. I seen a 2v GT stage 2 heads and cams making 525rwhp on 14.5lbs of boost. If your going to do a 4v swap and stay N/A then I just say go with a 2v with a blower instead. If you'll eventually get a blower or any type of boost the go 4v. 2v can make good power. 4v just make more. I'm sticking with my little 2v. Also 4v sound the best...
Edit: also if you want to make good power on a 2v or 4v. yes you'd need a built bottom end. I'm building one in the process rite now can't wait...

I think the best thing that 2vs have right now,is the trick flow heads,those things outflow 4vs all day,and incase that wasn't enough,mmr offers them ported.

MMR = Junk

If you wanted to get a set of CNC ported 2v Trickflow heads the best place to get them from is Livernois. At that point you are talking a lot of coin either way.

I agree, if you plan to stay NA get a 4v. When I hopped into a 4v it was night and day from any NA 2v that I've driven.

But..if you do plan for boost, then save some money from sticking to the 2v and build that motor right and get a blower.

I've never researched this, but what would the price difference be between the 2 options:

1. built 2v w/ blower
2. 4v swap

That's your opinion and your intitled,but shops can't keep every single person happy,I think you should hope on corral,buy doing research you'll find out for yourself that 2v na can and have made more power than 4v,I'm talking about a built 4v vs built 2v,I like 2 and 4 v,you just gotta know what you want and how to put them as far as parts go.

oh ok well my valve snapped in half and u wanna say its my fault. my machine shop verified the thing was a defective valve, but its all good or anyone who takes their car to DAVE can have him fix their car and it will come back with a rod knock like N8! Look at my track record before you open your mouth..how many cars have blown up that i have done? ZERO your just mad cause you can not say the same...

tell you what you keep bragging about this ugly fox u are building..put your money where ur mouth is! my car will be done soon or ill bring our NA fox? dont matter either way, YOU will NEVER own a CAR faster than ME!
