373's will speed up quicker. I've had both and I dont think theres TOO much of a difference, but I'm sure others will say otherwise. But once you step into the 410/430 ratios, THEN you'll feel a difference

3.73/4.10/4.30 are more for track use. 3.55 will be freeway friendly...

3.27 good for noobs that are not interested in performance. Or have turbo.
3.55 good for girls mustangs. Also good for skiddish men that lack testosterone. If u have a stock 50 engine maybe these are good for you.*
* opinion on these gears will soon change to " man I wish I went with 3.73 instead.
3.73 great if u make power under 5400 rpm. All around gear great for someone who thinks that 4.10 is the monster under the bed.
4.10+ now this means business. If u are not afraid to go balls to the wall step right up. Freeway runs will not matter if u leave the next looser by 3 cars on the third honk.

I think I remember that there is only like a 200rpm difference between 3:55s and 3:73s, I like 3:73s better for 150+MPH, I always hated racing someone on the freeway and once I put it in 5th gear it wouldnt pull is hard to get to 150+MPH with 3:55s, but with 3:73s 5th gear felt like it was in 4th and it would pull nice and fast to 150+MPH.

I had 3.73's and wish I would have gone 4.10's, and I drive (drove) freeway daily. And yes I believe the difference between gear sets is about 250rpms.

3:55 are very freeway friendly but so are the 3:73 if you want an all around gear keep the 3:55 there also great for the sc or turboed stock motors so you can keep it in each gear longer

Unfortunately if it didnt come stock with 3.55s then you are a major pussy for not getting some real gears apparently, LOL.

i love my 4:11's but im tapped out at the track. if i wanna go faster i need another gear in the tranny or lower gears in the rear or maybe even taller tires will work. Im running thru the traps at 6300 and 115 mph in 4th gear

4.10 for a fox, 4.30 for a DOHC is my choice for a street car.
