thankyou to everyone who was willing to help me awnser these questions for me. its for my English 122 class.

1. Why do you Street Race?.

2. Where Do you Street Race?. (Doesnt have to be exact location)

3.How would you Define Or Describe StreetRacing/DragRacing?.

4.What do you get out of StreetRacing?(Joy,Money,accopmplishment,Adrenaline rush or what ever...)

5.how much money would you say you have into your car(s)?.

6.Do you prefer racing at the track or the streets?.

7.how did you learn to work on cars?.(school,parents,self)

8.how old were you when you started racing/ working on cars?.

9.is working on cars a hobby or career?.

10.how much time have you established into your car?.

11.have you ever got caught for street racing?.

12. How many times have the cops pulled you over in you car?.

13. does your family/friends support your love & intrests for cars?

14.do you consider street racing a safe hobby?.

15.do you consider your car to always be a work in progress?.

16.what extremes will you go to for your car?. ($$, traveling to get parts, etc..)

I did my method research paper on street racing years ago. It was 38 pages long, I spoke to a lot of peeps and had a ton of info. It was fun project, good luck with yours.

11.have you ever got caught for street racing?. No I don't Street race

12. How many times have the cops pulled you over in you car?. Never I don't drive my car on the street

13. does your family/friends support your love & intrests for cars? Yes Very Much so

14.do you consider street racing a safe hobby?. NO

15.do you consider your car to always be a work in progress?. Yes

16.what extremes will you go to for your car?. ($$, traveling to get parts, etc..) If I can't have the part shipped to me then I don't need it that bad.

It's not about myself ... its a profile essay ...and I have to interview people who do my topic and include the interview in my essay ...

Depending what kind of grade you want to get and what level English. But....I had to do a research paper for Physics and I had to interview folks. Your list is quite extensive and could easily cost a person a hour if you get good responses, why not offer 5 dollar Starbucks cards of something? It is what I did, and I got a very good grade and great input.

Just an idea.

haha i would if i could N8, and ill prolly still get a shitty grade i suck at essays to keep it real, haha im trying my hardest to pass this class. and am only 19 years old, if i could afford that i would love too... and yes i just wanted to throw up a bunch of strong questions that was related to my topic, u do not have to awnser them all by any means... i thank everyone again for ur help, its highly appreciated, and if there is anything u guys ever need help w. i will be gladly to help you.

bcuz its a fun hobby and the adrenaline rush.

definitely the street

luckily no.

damh to many.

family no but friends definitely

not realy

1. Why do you Street Race? I dont street race, but on occassion I like to "get on it" when driving on the highway.

2. Where Do you Street Race?. (Doesnt have to be exact location) Again, I dont streetrace, but if I DID, it'd be on the san mateo bridge in the middle of the night or on Clawiter in Hayward [Big Grin]

5.how much money would you say you have into your car(s)?. Which car hahaha! In all the cars I've had and dumped money into, I could've and should've just bought a Shelby Cobra Roadster Replica [Embarrassed]

6.Do you prefer racing at the track or the streets?. Track only because there arent any streets that replicate an autocross course or road race track and are SAFE enough to race through.

7.how did you learn to work on cars?.(school,parents,self) Watching my pops, reading posts on forums, reading magazines and manuals

8.how old were you when you started racing/ working on cars? I helped my dad restore his 65 fastback when I was in 5th grade

9.is working on cars a hobby or career?. Hobby

10.how much time have you established into your car?. All the freetime I have I try to do something with the car. Althoug with a family and young daughter, its hard at the moment.

11.have you ever got caught for street racing?. No, but I got an "excessive acceleration" ticket in a mall parking lot hahah

12. How many times have the cops pulled you over in you car? twice...one for front tint and another for front license plate, but i'm sure they just pulled me over because of the car I was driving.

13. does your family/friends support your love & intrests for cars? Yes...if your wife or GF dont support, leave the bitch!

14.do you consider street racing a safe hobby?. No, racing on the streets is lethal.

15.do you consider your car to always be a work in progress?. Indeed...it will neverbe done!

16.what extremes will you go to for your car?. ($$, traveling to get parts, etc..)
If the price is right, I will travel long distances for parts. My last 4 mustangs were all purchased several hours away because nothing is cheap in the bay area!
