I always said he was better suited for boxing. I think he is a natural boxer and can do quite well in boxing. Plus the heavyweight division is super weak right now. You got cruiserweights coming in there and wrecking shop. I can see Kimbo walking through the likes of Arreola, Peters, Chambers and they may even set up Grant. Then possibly getting a title shot at the end of 2011 or beginning of 2012. I'd actually like to see him against James Toney.

Kimbo has a weak chin and his cardio sucks. He is not going to make a dent in the Heavyweight division. Even though I do not like them. The Klitchkos are not bums. Arreola would K.O him Sam Peter would K.O him and the Klitchkos would knock his head into the 10th row... Hell, Roy Jones would K.O him too and he is not even a heavyweight....

I did not really follow him in the MMA stuff. But I doubt he has a weak chin. Arreola is a joke, Peter is a 1 trick pony and yes I do believe the Kilitchskos will punish him. Outside of the K's there are no premiere heavies so he will have a field day, make money and rack up wins. Lets put it this way out of the top 10 heavies he can beat 7 of them and possibly 8. Shit Ruiz is still ranked...lmao. He'd have issues at Cruiser though.

lol I just noticed something. They have Ruiz ranked and not David Haye....LMAO.

I doubt he could beat any of the top 10 heavies. hell i doubt he could beat any of the top 20! true enough this division is weak as baby bottle kool aid but you got to understand that this guy has no amateur career and i do believe he is OVER 36 years old. He is JUST now starting out in boxing. Their is a BIG difference between a pro and an amateur and Kimbo is gonna find that out quick. Could Kmbo beat some pro somewhere? of course! but I am sure I could as well. Kimbo is not going anywhere... but a strecher...

Yea he is starting waaaaaay late. but he is a natural boxer and athlete. He wont have a a hall of fame career and what he brings is somewhat a side show freak to the sport. But I think with the right trainer he can beat Valuev, Povetkin, Oleg, Peters.... And maybe some fringe folks like Monte Barrett. But ultimately he will end up on a stretcher because Shaw will find a way to get him in the ring with a Klitschko.

Now I think about it, him coming in the sport the way he is, is kinda disrespectful to boxing. And if he gets a title shot before I see Haye take on one of the Klitchskos man, that will be a big black eye to the sport.

I doubt he could beat ANY of the guys you mentioned. Monte Barrett gave David Tua all he could handle last month lol! both those guys are WASHED UP! Hell, I think if I had a world class trainer for 6-months to a year and got in shape i could whoop Kimbo! I'm serious!

Kimbo has the worst cardio ever, he has shown that in every fight.. And just cause u have head movement followed by a few hooks does not make u a naturual boxer, I don't think kimbo could beat any real boxer.. And yes he does have a glass jaw, he got knocked out by a jab.

From his brawling days he has natural head movement and a bob and weave. Also his punches are really accurate and he punches well. And he does not close his eyes when throwing punches. You will be surprised how many fighters do this. Now what happened to him in MMA yea I am not sure. Because while I respect the athletes the venues and promotions are a joke. But what I have seen from him, he is a natural athlete and a very good fighter with some good qualities that are fit for boxing. Now his cardio is based on his desire to excel and I cannot speak to that. But with the right approach on his behalf and a good trainer he can make noise in the heavies. He was a better fit for boxing than MMA IMO.

You think Kimbo is ALOT better then he really is..
Not really I just see a few attributes that make a really good boxer. Now if he puts them together is on him. But I am telling you the 2-3 big things I see about him is:

His punches are really accurate and efficient in their motion (naturally)

He does not close his eyes when punching despite a punch heading his way.

And he has naturally good movement and placement. Watch his old bum fights and you can see most of the time he is really square and splits the other fighters stance.

Those few things alone to be doing them without being taught is pretty good IMO.

kimbo is NOT a good boxer at all no way in hell he beat up a bunch of wannabes on the internet then when he was given a chance in the ufc he couldnt even beat mediocre talent.give me a break samuel peters might be a 1 trick pony but he would destroy kimbo. plus i think its been a long time since theres been a good crop of guys in the cruisers or the heavies anyway boring weight classes its not 1989 anymore

kimbo should have never went into mma. it was just not his bag. just like james toney. he will get whooped in mma. but like I ssaid whether kimbo becomes a good boxer is yet to be seen. but he possesses some natural abilities and instincts that are hard or next to impossible to teach. and as far as arreola in my current shape I could whoop him easily....lol
