Dont want to hijack your thread but if you like wheelin' I thought you might want to check out this race coming up in Reno. Its called the "King of The Hammers" race. First time its being held in reno at the grand sierra resort. They're going to be having a 4x4 show, KOH racing, and a bikini car wash.
check it out...

Yeah I doubt there's gonna be more than handful on here that wheel. Its cool though, because you wouldn't want to many people out there, from here anyway, they'd just be swangin donuts and running into us!

I was at Hollister one time and a group of guys showed up in a late 90's 1500 Ram and started swangin donuts in the obstacle course area. Doors open, hanging out the window and everything

Ya i was thinkin of puttin some sort of xo cage but just dnt have the cash. Looks like ur rig does pretty good at the rubicon how often do you go?and what other spots do u go?
Posted by Bent70 (Member # 9694) on
:
Really for the rubicon you just need some sliders for the rockers tow points front and rear and a rear locker would help, but not really needed. That trail is as hard as you want it to be. Its the fullwidth body that you need to be careful about if you wish. There are only a few tight spots.
I try to go as often as possible, but have only made it up 2-3 times this year.
Spots I go are
rubicon
fordyce
barret lake
hollister
Johnson Valley

Coo man well mabe we will have to hook up sometime and wheel

I'm open/open, and did Rubicon. Took a lot of rock stacking. But for a full sized rig, I too would be a little worried about the body panels.

Nice my first wheeler/car was a 93 zj. Walked the con on 32's hit a few trees not paying attention and later crumched most the side in the v notch above the sluice box when you could drive to spider lake. Good times

That's at Hollister, forgot what the trail was called. White rock? Goes to the top.
Bent70, your screen name actually sounds familiar. What other boards are you on besides POR?
