I have four family members in LE, two of which in SFPD and all four agree it was a "fair" verdict but he should see prison time. We shall wait untill August..

I wanted to see second degree murder charge but hell, i'll take the involuntary manslaughter due to the fact that no officers have ever been charged for anything like this in the past 30 years.

A life was taken, mistakenly or not, a life of a father/son/brother etc and if he was a part of your family i think you would have different views.

Not sure I understand your quote but shot or not your suspect is supposed to be cuffed. I have seen people run over and still cuffed afterwards on numerous occassions.

Thanks man, I usualy don't post much on here just read some of the threads for a good laugh but when shit like this is said some one needs to comment.. I am sure he would feel like a bigger man if he walked up to a Cop and his family and said he deserves to die because of a accidental shooting. BTW I know one of the bart cops who stood on that platform that day. I also know a officer who went through the academy with Mehserle, all said there was no way he did that on purpose..

When people make stupid comments like that it hit's home Especialy when one of the Oakland Police officer's that were shot and killed lived right down the street from me. People saying that need to get there heads checked.
