I think he's staying in cleveland, but i wouldn't be surprized if he goes top miami.

Hell I was leaning towards Chi-town, but thats not happening now. I cant see him staying in Cleveland, but I cant see him taking a pay cut to join Wade. NY just peeled Amare. Man, I think Cleveland, but if he takes the cut to go Miami, I'd be surprised. Then again not. No taxes, better market, better night life. Yea I am gonna say Miami now. I think he is more concerned with his brand than a ring anyway.

These cats had this planned out since Bei-Jing. They were gonna play together and Chris Paul will join them in 2012. Now if CP3 does this, no matter what team it is, that will officially be a super damn dynasty unlike anything ever seen in sports.

Win a ring, then talk Dynasty. And even then...what was the phrase Stan Van Gundy used? "Wade's Lap dog"? Think that sums it up...

It looks like LBJ goes to the heat. But the Lakers still match up well against the potential Heat team and I think will beat them in 7. Kobe and Wade is a wash. Artest can still defensively hold his own against LBJ or at least keep him from blowing up. Bosh + fillers can't take on Gasol, Bynum, and Odom.

CP3, Wade, LBJ, Bosh, O'Neal,

on the bench
Q Rich, Alston/Arroyo, Haslem/Beasley, Magloire....

Coaching
Pat damn Riley

Man, that is a damn dream team in and of itself. On paper it is exciting. But in real life the addition of CP3 makes it viable to compete for a title instantly. Without a true PG that 3 is good but I can see issues on the floor. Maybe even off load Beasley, Chalmers and a couple of others and get a long rangey PG man, that is a team to reckon with.

Bosh and Oneal will murder Gasol, Bynum. Artest cannot guard LBJ period. And if they get CP3 in 2012, its a wrap. I think Kobe will foul out vs Wade. They are a wash stat wise. But Kobes game is no longer finesse and is more efficiency. Wade is strong, quick and everything Kobe used to be plus some. I give a slight edge to Wade. If LBJ goes there, it changes everyones moves in the league.

In real life that team will never happen. The salaries of Wade, LBJ, and Bosh alone kills the cap. This year alone hey would have less than a million in cap if the three sign.

An addition of CP3 is impossible. Let alone having role players like Rich and Haslem who are earing 8 and 7 million respectively.

It actually can happen in 2012. Depends on the salary cap and what these guys do this year as far as pay cuts. They can ship Haslem and Rich and maybe a 3rd player and still have bases covered with Beasley and others. CP3 is coming off injury (lowered market value) so mix that with his desire to win a championship they maybe able to sign him to a 2 year contract with a max out at 1 year. I doubt he will command the same money had he not been hurt. The more I think about it Miami has conducted themselves very well over the years to remain a contender in the East and still have mobility to even make them feasible for this move.

Bosh is as soft as Kleenex. He was exposed by Dwight Howard who has absolutely no offensive moves.

O'neal was recently picked up by Boston so he is out of the question. Even if he stayed O'neal has been injured a quarter of his nba career with KNEE injuries. There is no way those two can bang in up against two who have proven they could overcome and bang with a physical Celtics team.

Artest is and has been the among the best defensive players for the past decade. In Game 7 of the Finals he showed what he is still capable of doing. Again, we saw LBJ choke and give up once again. I'm not saying Artest would lock LBJ down but he won't be lighting up the score board for 40 points. At this point, I don't think anyone will guard LBJ.

Wade and Kobe is still a wash and one is not significantly better than the other.

Hell Dwight will expose any damn body. He is the type of big man that needs a good PG. Damn I forgot about Oneal being gone, but hell Beasley is a beast as well. Gasol and Bynum are both very soft. Gasol being the softer one and is often a liability on defense and very inconsistent. If Odom played to his potential Lakers would be that much better. No reason he should not be having a hall of fame career. And Artest is not a premier defender it is just all he does. So it seems he is a Bruce Bowen type. But I agree he is scrappy ad a intangible player. But cannot and will not be able to contain LBJ. Period. Hell Dwade was 5th in scoring and 4th in steals. LBJ was second in scoring and 9th in steals. I dont like LBJ one bit, but damn that team presents match up problems all over the floor. No one matches up with them well with that starting 5.

Reports say that LeBron's already booked a hotel in Miami for a weekend party. Sounds like Cleveland is SOL once again. You can thank Delonte for this one!

It's a crackpipes dream. CP3 will not command a lower value unless he gets a foot chopped off. He is arguably the best pg in the league. He is in the same category as Nash and Williams who are max contract players. He is an 18-4-10 avg PG entering his prime. There is no way his value is dropping.

Cap for the past couple years has been around 58 million so it won't increase another 10 million in one year. I will add based on the minimum they would see at the beginning for their contracts.

Their current roaster makes up for 9 million. Wade, Bosh, LBJ will add up to 45 million. That is 5 players that makeup for 54 million. Then you'd have only 4-5 million to sign CP3? A top PG only signing for 5 million a year?! That is only 6 players what about the rest of the roster?

Say they do let go Jones and Beasley an free up 14 million. They could sign CP3. You'd have 4 players that add up to 58 million. Even if CP3 signs for 10 million they would only have 4-5 million to spend on 10 players to fill out the roster?

The numbers anyway you chop it won't work.

The numbers can work. CP3 is still one of the best in the league you are correct. But a injury of that sort (2 both ankles) is prone to happen again. Teams will weigh that out. It can happen numbers wise. But 2 things will have to happen. CP3 takes a non-max out first year. And the other players make adjustments. I think this whole thing was 7 years in the making and these dudes talked about it in Bei-Jing. So I would not be surprised if they make it happen. And step 1 is Lebron landing there. Wade was never leaving Miami and Bosh was part of it too.
