I have a 2000 v6 pony..my neighbor's selling a cobra engine with tranny..i was wondering if it would pass smog or is it legal to swap it???

Just by the questions you are asking I could tell you're not ready for such a big project but yeah try it see what happens [Big Grin]

Yes they do pass smog if swapped CORRECTLY and yes it is legal to put a V8 in you're V6....
