Id say thats about right, if not a little high. Salvage title kills the value big time.

You're right, maybe less. I was guessing high I know. Didn't want to insult

Not to mention a blown clutch

WHY DOES IT HAVE A SALVAGE TITLE

Posted by 1sickGT (Member # 9276) on :

just a small hit in the bumper and hood..

Got pics of the damage? Insurance wouldnt total a car for a small hit.

with 600 you can get a brand new clutch installed

$3K sounds right, maybe even $3500...

But it's hard to imagine people would want to go much higher than that unless they are prepared to deal with what you are deling with when they decide to sell in the future.

if thats the case ill just keep the car [Big Grin]

Unfortunately salvage title causes the value to drop like a rock. If you want to get the most money out of it I would return it to stock, sell the performance parts, and then sell the car.

Also, keep in mind that the value on these year Mustang's have dropped like a rock over the last year.

Good luck [patriot]

He's right and a clean title one has a hard time fetching over 2500 and a salvage one well I don't think I have to say it, but yea strip the car and bring it back stock and sell it that way
