I'm about to upgrade from the 2.5" and was wondering if it worked for you and how much more power you got? I think this is only relevant to owners of at least 500 crank h.p. Thanks for feedback.

3" catback here, but the previous owner already had it on when i got it, my other cobra had 2.5" but i cant really tell any difference, it does make it hard though when i was trying to put the new nitto style DR's on, exhaust got in the way

I'm doing 560 rwhp and it sounds like your close to or over what I have, I'm just wondering how much hp I'm going to free up with a 3". And I'm running cats on 91 octane with a crimp in my x-pipe for clearance issues. I'm wondering if I will hit 600 with this exhaust and no restrictive crimps?

i doubt you would add 40rwhp with just getting a 3 inch exhust. your going to get some in the top end.

I am running American racing LTs to a 3 inch collector, 3 inch off road X pipe to a 3 inch Magnapack Ultra Flow CB... he only reason I did this was because both Shawn and Drew said anything less ( 2.5 or Cat's) was going to restrict my motor of HP. Running 560rwhp your motor is going to need more room to breath.

If the motor is blown bigger exhaust is a given.
I almost have 4 inch collectors on my big block but the calculations for my exhuast didn't say it would have been optimal so i have 3.5

Why not just get a cutout?

cutouts on mustangs just arent a good idea...they sound like shit to be honest..
