im not so sure id be looking for a cafords 2010 dental hookup but if your desperate and the members here are all you have, i wish you well.

The season'd approach on the other hand, would be to grab the phone book and start calling.

Good luck & hope it doesn't hurt too bad...i mean when they start pulling and twisting [Razz]

ud be surprised that many americans that live near the border towns actually go through us agencies that work closely with reputable mexican dentists for dental work even offering transport and guides to clinics in mexico and return service.
its becoming more common due to the big business it generates for the agency and dentist in mexico which then helps drive up the competition to help provide better service. it probably wouldnt make sense to do that from frisco but if u lived further south it may make total sense when u weigh the total cost benefit along w/ the lower risk

That's where my parents go, they're self employees and don't pay the ridiculous money on medical insurance you'd pay out here for the same or better professionalism, A plane ticket, a couple of days vacationing down there is still cheaper than what you'd pay out here and this is for general health not just dentist.......

I see the great work from Mexico all the time. I am sure there is some good work being done but everything I have seen has been bad root canals and crowns. There is an accredited school in Mexico now that you can come to the US fully licensed.

As far as the extractions it depends on the type. Are you looking for all 4 or just the 1? Did they tell you if it was full bony impacted, partial bony, soft tissue impacted, is the nerve or sinus running through the roots. Do you want to be knocked out or you do not mind hearing the cracking noise and it comes out? I have a good oral surgeon but would need to know what typw of extraction it is. Did they do a Pano xray on you?

Listen to this guy, I'm doing all my work through his office and am really happy with the results!

the last thing u wanna do is go cheap. you pay for what you get. u shouldnt be paying 2k to get one tooth pulled. u dont want to go under cuz that will cost a lot more. just have them numb it the best they can and u should be good. if you go cheap and the tooth is already messed up and crooked its VERY highly possible they could go in there and leave a root or something in there and u will have a lot worse problems down the road. i promise you dont want to go cheap. but i do agree with some other ppl about chekcing out schools who teach dentistry because they usually do work for INEXPENSIVE. you dont ever want to use the word cheap and dentistry in the same sentence. that is the last thing you want to skimp on. trust. ps my lady is a rda
