u can buy a new hard drive at any computer store, best buy, fry's, etc for about $80. You'll need to get a copy of Windows and any software you need to go with it.

The computer is prob worth as much as a hew hard drive. The windows key is a legit oem key. Just call dell and request a copy of it or download whatever XP version key you have. If it has any hardware problems I wouldn't bother fixing it.

I would contact dell and see if you can get the restore cds or something. You are bound to have to search for drivers if not. oh and dell disply drivers suck. I would grab drivers from laptop2video.

But keep in mind, the operating system alone isn't going to be very useful. You need lots of software to actually do stuff.

dude support.dell.com and put your service tag in and it will give you all the drivers you need. Do this shit like every day, Lenovos are so much better for driver install.

When your mom and dad leave for work in the morning and you're at home setting booby traps do you change your Richie rich sticker to home alone Macaulay?
