Hey everyone,

I just got back from Los Angeles this afternoon after attending the Fabulous Fords Forever Show 2010 in Buena Park with my 96 Cobra. The show was awesome, plenty of great cars, weather was warm and sunny, lots of people, ran into some familiar faces (CobraTerritory, EPIK, Streakmatt, etc), and just had a blast in general. Before I get on to the pics, just a few notes:

- That I-5 drive can be pretty brutal on the front of a car given the amount of 18-wheelers running around. I think next year I will use some temporary bra or cake the front end in wax before driving down. I'm not surprised that some of you guys don't want to do that drive or decide to use a trailer instead. I also had about 500,000 bugs commit suicide on my front headlights and windshield, lol.

- The Cobra performed great, layed down 21-22mpg with the 4.30 gears, and gave me no problems at all.

- On the way home today, I got pulled over in San Luis Obispo for tinted windows along 101-N. I'm obviously not happy about this considering I have to get the door tint removed and ticket signed off. I will probably end up going with a lighter shade of tint in the future (50% maybe?). The CHP officer mentioned that any tint is illegal on the front doors, no matter the % transparency. That was a suprise to me as every damn car that I passed along the way after that had at least 50% tint, lol.

- I lived in Los Angeles for 5 years (99-04)while at UCLA, and this weekend reminded me why I left. What a concrete jungle clusterfuck that place is. It's smoggy and congested. On Saturday I drove 20 miles along PCH in Santa Monica and could not find a single place to pull over along the coast for a photo opportunity.

Anyway, on to the pics!

I also have to admit that this light blue '63 Falcon ended up being my favorite car at the show. Stunning paint, sleek body, enlarged rear wheel-arches, custom interior, & deep dish TT2 wheels. Left me breathless, and I don’t even care for Falcons!

I had a great time & this was my 1st time attending Knotts. Thanks for posting the pics Luke... Your car looked great at the show, as well as Boss32V's, Cobra Territory's, & many more. They have about 10 or so pic threads from this event over on SVTP, & the only thing that I can say is, the Fox's aren't getting enough love at all in most of the threads...

Thanks Dustin! You know, when I was at that show back in 2001 or so, the foxes dominated! The ratio has really swung since then with the newer SNs, new edge cars, and 05-up cars. The classics looked awesome too.

Lots of you guys making big claims for next year, lol. I will save this thread and see how many of you guys actually go next year, lol.

Thanks Luke... Sorry bro, I meant to get a pic of yours, but once I got over to the Snake Pit, I was in awww over the Red 95 with the HRE's the whole time I was there. I remember drooling over that car in 1 of my old mags so I spent a while talking to the owner... Honestly, I think all the pics I took at the show are way overexposed anyway, but I just pretty much had the settings on auto all day...

Dude, you should have seen this car in person!!! The paint didn't have 1 web, scratch, or swirl in it & it also had no orange peel whatsoever. It was amazing & pretty much the cleanest black paint job I have ever seen. & the dude said the car was painted 10 years ago.... At 1st, I thought it was Fox Lightning's (sonny's) old car, but the dude said he built it...

Agreed, that was the cleanest black paint I have seen since Sonny's car. Sonny's car was stunning, but this car was just on another level. Probably the best black paint I have ever seen in person. I have not even seen black that clean on brand new Lambos and Ferraris, lol.

The F1-A was on the car only for a few weeks, switched to turbo about a year ago, what do you mean by don't want to offend?
