Hey guys,

So I'm sure a bunch of you frequent the local junk yards / pick-n-pulls. Anyone find any gems there?

My recently trip to the Fairfield pick-n-pull was awesome. I was so happy to find these there:

(Driver side seat as I found it at the yard)
 -

Had the time to clean them up today and this is how they turned out: -

I think they turned out pretty good. These seats get me closer to finishing my black interior conversion - I'm just missing seat belts.

That's a good one. My best find was an almost complete B&M Megashifter. It was just missing the cable and tranny bracket. They only charged me $20 for the whole thing.

Eddy efi intake ( non rpm ), b&m shifter, t - body . The car had new flows on it but I had no way of cutting them off.

Think it was 120 for everything [patriot]

My best find was about 10 years ago when a friend wanted me to go with him to a local yard to look for an alternator bracket. I walk by a pile of cast iron exhaust manifolds, i spot a right side for a 428 Cobra Jet! Buried in the pile, i find the left side both in great shape. I pay $20.00 for them and sell them on eBay the next week for $675.00 to a guy doing a "Numbers Matching" restoration to a 1969 Mach 1.

found a explorer v8 motor out and in a wheel barrel already at the front office once. they said it had been there for 1 day . so i rolled it on out . for under 200 buck. and on a half day sale i got 2 roller 351, 2 454s, and one low mile roller 302. for like around 300 bucks after all the cores where exchanged. and about 7 sets of 24 pound injectors i stuck in one of the oil pans.i sold one 351 for 400 bucks by it self.that was one busy day tho lol. another good thing is if u look down the row of isle of cars. youll see the date they where put out on the yard. so if u find a new row it will be there for a while. get all your goodies and cram them in a trunk in a new row. and fuck up anything around that trunk that somebody would want so no body would care to open it. then come back on half day sale.it almost like a law away program lol!
