im leaning towards selling my 96 cobra. engine was rebuild for nitrous. Manley rods and pistons bored .30 over c head conversion and the heads were brand new when i bought them from patriot. stage 2 n/a comp cams and springs clevitte barings, melling oil pump meisere electric water pump. smaller pulleys 65mm accufab tb, JLT intake, MAC LT, MAC H PIPE and spintech mufflers. rear end is a build 28 spline with EATON posi unit, YUKON axles, 410's and longer studs. suspension i got strange all the way around with steeda drag launch springs, steeda sub frame and hotchkis cc plates. the engine has approximately around 16k miles.

what would i get for my cobra?

also forgot to mention that the car was just painted like 3 months ago and i bought fr500's for it. also just installed 2 autometer cobalt gauges

if one of the NEXGEN guys can chime in and tell you some specs of the engine would help me out

Its kool, I thought it was too til I put next to a dsg cobra. Only reason that I'm thinking about it is cause I found a Harley Davidson truck I liked

any reason you can't buy it and keep both?

I love my HD truck, but I also love my fobra, the truck is great, and with 14psi it's pretty fast, with the hotchkis TVS kit on it it handles fairly well, but it's still a truck [patriot]

hard to argue with the uniqueness/power/comfort/total package of a blown HD though.

out of my 5 cars - `89 h/c/i/procharged/MM/5 lug notch, `91 convertible, `97 fobra, `96 tahoe sport 2dr 4x4, and the `02 HD...if I had to get rid of them all and only keep 1, there's absolutely no question that I would keep the harley.

I may have missed it, but what intake do you have?

Any dyno/track numbers?

Posted by slow96cobra (Member # 6001) on :

I have the Mach 1 intake. My last dyno run was with out the Mach 1 intake and the electric water pump but I made 337 rwhp and 322 Trq, so far the best time I got was 11.92 @ 124 MPH with crappy 60 ft of 2.0 that track time was with the bottle, i ran a 12.7 @ 110 N/A
