I took my tired 5.0 to BRG and got 300 RWHP & 340 RWTQ. Rebuilt the same car to 331 Stroker took car back to BGR and got 320 RWHP & 440 RWTQ.

After talking to BGR I learned their good with motorcycles and not cars. I found a different DYNO Shop in Hayward who had re-done several BGR Tunes. With the new tune done in Hayward my car DYNO'd @ 420 RWHP & 480 RWTQ @ half the cost of BGR.

Be careful with these so called DYNO TUNES. Read a lot and ask a lot of questions about the DYNO, fuel mapping, calibrations, injector loads, and the technician's qualifications.

Where is BGR located? I think I've heard of them..but from what I know they make aftermarket motorcycle parts [Confused]

I'm glad you found another shop in Hayward taht worked out for you....was it Rick at Gearhead/Rob's Machine shop?

Hey Muvybuff, What Dyno does the shop in Hayward use? Where there any other indications other then good numbers that upset you about BRG? They use a Mustang dyno, very different from a dynojet. The mustang dyno will read lower.

You made good numbers either way. what is your setup?

Movin' this to General Talk.

Also, coming on a forum without any info other than "they can't tune" is pretty pointless.

I had my car tuned by BRG. S-trim Vortec. I am happy with it. I blew a HG but that was my own fault. Even then they were helpful with having my tune saved and going over it with me on the phone.

Thats crazy how you gained 100rwhp though!

Brg(chris) tuned mine at 420 rwhp no issues and happy with the service.. [Wink]

I think BRG has a Mustang Dyno, in which will result in 10-15% less Hp shown compared to a Dynojet.
