Thanks for looking out. My insurance didn't cover mine when I lost my brakes in turn 2 at Seca. Totaled and my loss.

It's not always your fault.

That 12 second car running a bracket race against an 8 second car can turn ugly real fast if the quicker car has a problem while barreling towards your "slow" car at the stripe.

not exactly, street cars insurance does NOT cover you at any timed event, some policy's they don't even cover car control clinics or high performance driving events (non-timed, with instructors).

This type of insurance is useful to have on ANY car that goes to a track, because it covers you at the track, and your regular insurance covers you when you aren't at the track.

this for car that regular insurance will not cover ie body in white ,off vech,
