I finally found the time to adjust my coilovers and give the car its first wash since my ownership [Big Grin] Still need to do a few things, including paint and install my Saleen wing, possibly paint the tail light bezels black, fab some brake ducts through the fog light openings, find some GTS emblems, adjust the panhard bar to center the axle, and most importantly bring it over to AED for some motor work...but for now here she is [Whoo Whooooo!]

FYI...I'm running 18x9/18x10 Saleens but since my rear tires are only 275's, I installed some 1" wheel spacers to push them out a bit more.

Here are some "real" pics of my car...sorry for the crappy ones pposted yesterday. I took the car to work today and snapped a few. Let me know what you guys think!

Lookz good bro. Haven't seen u driving it. Wat other thingz u gotta do to it? Not an expert and might sound dumb for asking but learn new thingz everyday but "GTS?" Help me out and tell me wat does GTS stand for.

Posted by SydeWaySix (Member # 3596) on :

Yea you've probably never seen this one around because I never drive it [Big Grin] there's a few things I need to do before
I actually start driving it around more, but it should be ready soon.

And for those who've never heard of the GTS, I believe they only came out in 94-95. They basically a no-option GT that was sold to enthusiasts who wanted to build race cars...because there were limited options, they were lighter in weight...that's basically it though.

GTS mustangs were only in 95.its basicly a v6 just with a 5.0 with no options on it like no power locks now rear wing and some v6 seats manual ones and things like that.I used to own one

Nice looking GTS sydeways.coming along very nice

How do you like those 1" spacers? I'm running the same rim/tire set up and was looking into some spacers for the back.

Is 1" a little too much?

Sco Cuddie...I like the spacers. I've ran them on almost all my mustangs to stick the rears out a bit...They make the stance look 10x's better! [Whoo Whooooo!]

Threethirty1...I'm down to smash around once the bugs are worked out! [burnout]

John..."real" pics are up now! [Razz]

Luke...its got a 331 stroker, AFR185's, cam, performer intakes, headers, etc, etc...then Griggs suspension. I was never really into yellow cars, but they grew on me and I love it!

Pure Stang...thanks...I tried to give it a slight rake.

Jose...once its at 100%, I'm down to smash around for sure [patriot]

Right on Dustin...yea the saleens were definitely the right choice for this color car. I'm pretty satisfied with the way it turned out [patriot]

Looks good! The 99 Saleen Wheels always looked good on sn95 cars and the chrome really makes the car pop. I didn't know it had a 331 in it also!

Looks good!

Years ago I said I would never own a yellow car, but then aquired my Canary 94GT by accident. It grew on me and I ended up loving it!

Here is my 94GT I sold a couple years back. I saw this car with a 347 about a year ago, but I don't know what happened to it since then.

Here are a couple pics when I had it:

And I agree, SN95s look fantastic with 99-up Saleens!

Brian...yup, 331 sitting inside this little ol' GT [Cool]

Luke...I saw pics of your canary before...definitley clean! Its a color that you have to really grow on, but in person it looks 100x's better [patriot]

Bottled95GT..hit me up if you find them bro! If not, its all good...I was planning on fabbing some front brake ducts taht I wanted to run through the fog light holes.

Alex...thats the plan bro [Wink]

John...what, you didnt like my iphone skills?? [Razz]

Big Block...Yes, I have Griggs coilovers in the rear and D&D coilovers in the front. Th rears are almost to the lowest setting and the fronts still have room to play...but it'd be way too low if I dumped it more.

James...you know I'm always open to offers. I still need to try a new edge, so If you want it, its here bro [Big Grin]

Thanks bro! Yea, I think bright colors look sick on mustangs, or any muscle car for that matter [patriot]

I agree. Yellow & bright colors are my favorite colors on Stangs. Canary yellow is 1 of the best colors ever available on stangs, but Screaming Yellow is the best yellow...

Nope... That horrible pale yellow you are referring to is called Zinc Yellow. No offense to ZY owners, but that color is terrible. Screaming yellow is the darker deeper yellow, similar to Canary, but even better & richer looking...

Screaming Yellow 04' Cobra....

I think that one is called zinc yellow and I don't care for it myself. I think they where going after the females with that color with their v6 line. I know a few women who like "that pastel yellow."

The 96-98 version of a gts is not known as a gts, its called a 248a option.

Posted by essasin (Member # 4741) on :

That screaming yellow is badass. The canary yellow is the one that pops out in brightness and the screaming yellow pops out in boldness. Both great shades of yellows.

Posted by EPIK (Member # 7481) on :

Yup, & Zinc Yellow looks like canary yellow that was never waxed & parked in the sun for 10 years straight...

There are some very nice Zinc cars out there too, but I'm just not a fan of the color...

Oh, and definitely paint the tailight bezels black, they would look sick IMO.

Mitch...thanks bro! Hopefully I find some time soon to do the bezels and get the wing painted...

Rodriguez...I felt the same way about yellow. I was never really a fan, but then I started looking at ones that were "done right" and they have lots of potential! [patriot]

I must say that thing looks amazing..
I always wanted an sn95 with chrome saleeens..
One day I'll get what I want
Canary yellow and Bright Atlantic Blue are my favorite sn95 colors..
I guess you could throw Mystic out there too, but I'm not real big on them unless they're perfect
But the car looks great. Good work [patriot]
