I dont know about you, but I can't stand the exhaust smell/fumes that come out of cars that run without cats. I dont mind if its another car, but when its my car and I'm driving it, I just cant stand it...Dont you guys get light headed when stopped at a light or stuck in traffic?!??! (end rant )

When I have my cutout closed on the GXP and it exits thru the mufflers the exhaust fume stench seems to reach inside the car that much more. Its surprisingly a lot less inside the car when the cutout is open. I don't mnd it much though

If your car is tuned right fuel pressure and timing is right it shouldn't get you like that unless you don't have tail pipes

I'm running full pipes but yes, i think my car is running a bit rich. hopefully after the tune it gets better

I'd hate to see this one sit 99% of the time like my old SF Giants coupe because I cant stand driving it...

If your car is in good tune, you don't have any exhaust leaks, and you have tailpipes, you should not be able to tell a difference.

BBK o/r x pipe with no cats and turn downs, and it does give a good odor when at a stand still. Its not too bad though if i keep the windows cracked

when i was a teenager i used to run off roads and thought i had the baddest shit on the block regardless of the fumes and consequences that may result by getting pulled over. how cool was it to drive a 225 hp beast that sounded like a nascar but in reality was slow as shit.

probably a sign of age but these days i cant stand offroad not only for the fumes but also the damn sound they make. on a streetcar ill take my catted xpipe anyday over an offroad.

One coupe has catted X with super turbos and i actually like it, but i wouldn't mind having some cutouts on it. Drove this one all week and cause it's so quiet you seem not to really want to romp on it. Jumped in the off road H piped coupe with 40 flows today and fell in love with the sound all over again, and couldn't really help gettin sideways for whoever was looking!!

I do smell fumes when i am behind the car though. Need a better tune.

I have dumps on 2 of my Stangs the other has a highflow cat but the ones without I never had the problem with fumes but the turn downs were pointed towards back and out to the side at an angle but and with the mid pipe it sat just behind my ass so to speak but hav had friends that the same set up and I couldn't stand it either but they ran stock motors with off road hpipesand they ran a little rich with their fuel pressure turned way up

LOLLL................. .....Back to the thread though..i dont have cats on my car and never smell anything inside, tailpipes FTW... although when i do start it up in the garage my fucking clothes reeek like gasoline just after a minute or two...Ohh well haha love driving catless.
