If you have all smog catts and carb # on after market parts and timing @ 10* and your fuel pressure down you should pass good luck

I failed my first time, because i had a vacuum leak at the iac gasket. made my car run stupid lean. also if u ever do it again, make sure the run the car in second gear if possible.

I've owned about 30 stangs and had to smog em all, some stock, some fully built. I have a lot of experiance in the smog "game" plus my best friend owns a shop. hes always shocked how my stang have almost zero emissions, if it doesent there's someting wrong. First off cats only cover up problems, i've smgged built motors sans cats, had hollowed ones on there with a e303, no problem. The absolute fool proof formula is to first run a really strong cleaner through your car, my favorite is pass or double your money back its in a blue box at kragen for 10 bucks. run it through a full tank, this will clean out the carbon etc... next fill up with a 1/4 tank of 91 add a full bottle of your favorite octane boost. Go in with a hot motor, have them run 2500 for a few minutes efore its hooked up. You should pass no prob, works 9 times outta 10 for me. Good luck everyone. the smog nazis suck.

man i went to go pick it up today n the dude was like it didnt pass the smog only the emmisons..idk he said the car was a out of state car where there was no smog needed n the guy before me jus conected the hoses to the carb the smog guy said all he wanted was to get the car running, i was like wtf but he's going to charge me $250 for everything (legal) so it can pass smog.
