Got the timing chain replaced, no leaks except still from the damn heater hose under my water pump and i have a small fuel leak near the carb. nothing bad so i finished the break in of the cam. Made this video of it idling, Sorry its kinda dark, it didn't seem dark in the garage. My camera sucks.

The timing is set at 17 degrees right now, probably could use more. Just need to get the steering aligned, the exhuast coated and my rearend seal leak fixed and i will be driving it [Big Grin] [burnout]

No that month i'll be in training on how to repell out of a helicopter so i won't make it to knots. Hopefully this summer i'll bring it out if the day of the meet is on the same day as a day off.

By the way i forgot to mention. i dynamated the entire car, didn't think it was working at all cause i couldn't hear the stereo at all when breaking in the cam but i did have the door open and the window rolled down. Well my dad opened the passengerside door and it got 10 times louder lol so maybe if i close the door i might be able to hear the stereo. i only got 2 speakers in it right now though so once i get the 6x9s in it should be better.

Dynamat only helps fight vibration (rattling) which is actually only apparent in a vary narrow frequency range. While I'm sure you might have some rattling I'm sure that 532 makes more decibels than vibration. I'm sure you could stack layers of Dynamat but that is $$$.

The only way to block your engine's sound is by adding MASS on your firewall and cabin. Dense material will permit much less engine noise in the cabin. You could use a lot of foam or thick vinyl sheets.

Pulled the Fastback out and drove it back in the garage. The only time it'll ever see wet ground. Spun the tires putting it back on the car lift. Took all the paint off the lifts ramps lol. Didn't mean to let the tires spin.

Took the Fastback down to get the rearend re-sealed. Been leaking for the past year. That thing will spin the tires sooo easily its not even funny. Already laid two strips down pulling it off the trailer.
