Just lookin for a general consensus among my fellow Californiafordians. I know the zo6 will shit all over the challenger srt8 - performance wise and that's why I'm leaning towards it. But something about the Challengers lines and body has me on the fence. Plus if they redesign the vette soon, that muthafuckers gonna drop in half the value.

Those challengers are slow as fuck, even the srt 8s. Not even in the same class as a vette.

They do have clean lines thought.

The Challenger weight 4k pounds!! that's 800 lbs more than the ZO6. The ZO6 has better power to weight ratio than the Ferrari F430 and the Porsche GT3 RS. Now the only question you should have left is........... What color? [Big Grin]

the way i see it, if i'm going to buy a fast car then two seats its all i need, no need to have a family car that goes fast. and the z06 is just in another level then the callenger.

Challenger is too big. It's a great 11/10 scale car. Shrink it down about 2 sizes, and it would look great. Nice looking car, but I would take the 'Vette over the Challenger any day, if I had the cash to consider such a decision...

my cousin has the 09 srt8 challenger . I've driven it and I've driven the srt8 charger and its the same shit different body if ya got the cash I'd get a vette. I almost bought a vette untill my pops saw how much my insurance was going to be for a 19 y/o with a 03 c5.

I cant believe anyone would choose the dodge over a Z06. The Z06 is a supercar while the challenger is a polished turd. Its heavier than the fattest person in the world and then some!!! Obviously it's not a practical "family car". Thats because you can buy a MINIVAN for that and let your sack drop. I am definately a ford fan but you cant deny the "out of the box" performance and the aftermarket possibilities of the vette. [Whoo Whooooo!]

a lil over the top, still clean none the less. If I went the challenger route, it'd be on 24's supercharged. If I go z06 then it's all stock... with a 22/21 3-peice.

I'm not knocking the idea of having big rims on a sports car but personally that just ain't my style. Being that it seems as though it's something you're interested in, then I'd say get the Challenger.
