2 weeks ago I damaged one of the wheels on my Bimmer so I've been on the hunt for another set. I found some listed with new tires and in great shape so I drive all the way out to meet. They show up in an SRT10 truck so I figured they had some money and were on the level. 2 of the "brand new tires" were bald on the inside edge, one wheel had a crack on the center of the wheel going half way around, it had at least 1/4" gap! He said everything was in good shape and I find that. Then the dick tries to tell me he had some tire shop quote him $100 to weld it up..... yeah right! We were out at Arden Fair mall and he tried selling them to some guy for his Pontiac, kept saying they were universal rims and would fit his car. I'm so tired of shady ass people wasting my time. I noticed today that he added the part about the crack in the wheel, guess the other guy that was coming to buy them went off on em. I try to stay away from the ads that don't have pictures. But either way, I agree on a lot of jackasses being on Craigslist. Both sellers and buyers. I got so fed up with trying to sell something that my last time I posted it, I just sold it to the first person who showed up.

He sent me pics but it turns out that it wasn't of the actual wheels, just one he found on line. Either way, I've gotten great deals off Craigslist in the past but these guys were the biggest pieces of crap I've dealt with so far and that says a lot.
