Wow, if you make the whole 24hrs I will be very impressed. I have done the 8-10hr drive (with traffic) to SD a couple times and I was borderline suicidal towards the end, LOL

T it takes more than a couple hundred buck to get into this. Some friends of mine talked about doing this, but youy need everyone to put in a decent amount of money for safety items for each driver, and that adds up if they don't have anything. Let me know if you are serious, and need any help. I would need a race date to see if I am available though. It is definatly on the list of shit to do!

To get the car legal safe and ready to run not include your dot helmet and fire suite you are looking at about 500-750 a person jsut to get the car competition ready. add another 350-1000 for racing suit including helmet gloves shoes neck brace ect and you are into big dough. You are actually only on tract for about 16 hours. My team driver changes on fill ups which last about 1:30 - 2 hours depending on which driver is in the car.

Man you are the best. I think i will check out teh next race and see what i need and how it operates. Thanks so much for the offer and i will take you up on it once i do some investigating.
