I just scored me a upper in lower GT-40 tubular intake. I was wonder what would be the best way to getting it look like new again. Should I sand blast it n paint it or just get it poweder coated, what are the pros n cons. Thanx

Sand blast then paint with primer then a satin wheel paint then one coat of clear

scrub it n pressure wash then use semi gloss engine enamel

My cuzzin got his gt-40 intake powder coated a glossy silver for like 150 out here in the bay area. Its around 2 year old and still shines like new!

i got my cobra intake powder coated silver and it looks brand spanking new. the finish is more durable than paint. i did it last year and it cost around $150 depending on the color choice. i used maas brothers powder coating in livermore.
