Yuri Foreman was not in ANYBODY"S top ten of jr. middleweights before he beat Daniel Santos ( who was overweight and had not fought in over a year) for the belt. Yuri Foreman is a top rank promoted fighter who has virtually NO punching power. There fighting in new york on Puerto rican day so it should be a good money maker. I think Cotto should be able to win this one easily. there both top rank fighters. But at this point ireally think cotto is damaged goods.. he will never be the same after the two beatings he recieved.

It should be a win for Cotto, but if chooses to fight a real 154 champ he is done.

I believe Cotto deserves this one last shot! If he doesn't perform well, then he should really retire. He's still relatively young.

Perfect fight for Cotto...he is a pressure fighter, he likes to stalk his opponents...Foreman very good movement, technically sound, no power...He will not be able to take advantage of Cotto's poor defense, Cotto will walk right through his shots...Cotto tko in 8.

You act like Cotto is the second coming of Wilfredo Gomez or somethin. Nothin wrong with supporting a Puerto Rican boxer but this guy was NEVER great. Hell, I heard that most people in Puerto Rico think he is an asshole! on the other hand EVERYONE loves Felix Trinidad in P.R.

As far as an *sshole, I know thats not true. Not sure where you heard that one. He is like a god in puerto rico. Yeah maybe more people were drawn to Felix T. more because he was a more vocal fighter. I loved Felix myself but they are 2 different fighters...

I like doubters tho. It makes the true fan stand out. When Cotto faught Paq it irritated me that all of a sudden there was Cotto fans all over the place but before that fight most had never heard of him (not real boxing fans).

I never thought of Cotto as a boxer more of a fighter, brawler. And because of that he will never achieve the status Tito achieved and Tito took on anyone. But he is a tough S.O.B. I was surprised he laid down for Manny.

Ummm, the only hall of fame fighter Cotto has beat was Moseley and even that is controversal as to whether he really one or not. Personally i think he won by maybe a round but it was really close. He is a soilid fighter though and he does come to fight. I think the last two beatings he recieved will affect him for a long time. I don"t see him as being the same again. In there prime Felix trinidad would have decapitated him lol!

yea Cotto is good and even a very good fighter. But great he isnt. Not Hall of Fame worthy. But he will be remembered for being tough. Tito is still one of my all time favs. And yes a prime Tito would burn through Cotto. Easily.
