Nice, Jeremy! I'm glad that you ended up grabbing a classic Mustang instead. It looks clean! More pics?

Here are a few more shots. Found it in Chico for $4k. Needs some work but is a great starting point for me. Owners were very nice, also had a Ferrari, Supperbee and black Z06 in the garage. I need some advice though. This is my first pre smog car. It's the weeker 2-bbl 302 automatic 3 speed with single exit exhaust.
First thing I want to do is upgrage it to 4-bbl and put new headers and catback on to dual exhaust. Suggestions are welcome, advice needed, and comments well,....comments this is cafords so we know how that shit goes.

lol this is just a coupe not a mach 1 or gran. Motor runs very healthy. Rebuilt carb last year, new master cyl. new battery new front and rear glass, all eletricals work except clock, only rust I've really been able to track down is the bottom of the battery tray. Front and back bumpers mint conditioin, rear air suspension I've yet to play with. Guess I can raise and lower the rear with my compressor at home. Could use passenger seat recovered, stock radio should be put back in, rubber on the doors that are next to the windows have cracks, control knob for the side view mirror is missing, could use some new front end bushings and/or alignment as there is some play in the steering wheel. All new rebuilt brakes, could use a new rear view as the one in the car is not stiff and kinda just wiggles, Engine compartment needs to be cleaned up. Simple things to start with. Clean title and 153,000 miles
Thats all I've really come across for the time being.

Don't wast your money on a carb for that engine. Pull that engine out and put a big block in it!! Or rebuild what you have and give it more power.

go big block. put the 302, complete, to the side in case the car is ever worth 10000000000 dollars.
And put in a built big block FE or

If I could afford a $17,000 motor then I would have used that money toward a 2011 5.0
Last thing I built with my own hands was a lego police truck and even then I could never get it to fire up.
Car did come with two captains hats one is on the bottle of Morgan I'm drinking and the other is on my head. YO HO HO Bitches.
The "plan" is to clean it up more, perfect the underbody as I've found two more rust spots that need attention. Open the restricted air ways with some good headers and exhaust, suspsension upgrades and brake upgrades. If I rip into the motor now I'll run out of funds before I can drive it again. Running project...thats the plan...we all throw the plan out the window though when deals come up you can't pass though lol.
Thanks for the comments people.

That was just a pic teaser.
You could build a nice big block for it on the cheap and make great power. Hell aussie heads on a cleveland would make that car roar.
Anyway, nice toy.
